What are Rugkey rugs made of?
Our rugs are hand-tufted. Most designs are 100% wool. Modern Jungle Leaf Motif is wool with viscose.
Are the rugs made to order?
Yes. Every rug is made by hand after you order. Production typically takes 30 to 45 days after payment is confirmed, and shipping time is added after that.
Do you ship outside the USA?
No. Rugkey ships to the USA only.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is charged by rug size: $60 for 2x3, 3x5 and 2.5x7; $70 for 4x6, 5x7, 2.5x10 and 2.5x12; $100 for 6x9; $125 for 8x10; $170 for 9x12; and $200 for 10x14. The exact amount shows at checkout. There is no free shipping.
Will I pay import duty?
Yes. Our rugs are made in India, and US import duty isn't included in the price or shipping. The carrier collects it on delivery.
How much is the import duty?
It depends on the rug's value and the rate US Customs applies. Email support@rugkey.com before you order and we'll explain what to expect.
What sizes do you offer?
All sizes are in feet: 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14, plus runners in 2.5x7, 2.5x10 and 2.5x12.
How do I care for my rug?
Vacuum on low suction and blot spills with a clean, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool. Do not machine-wash. New wool rugs may shed a little at first; this settles with regular vacuuming.
Can I cancel my order?
Because each rug is made for you, cancelling during production means 40% of the product price is non-refundable and 60% may be refunded. Shipping charges are not refunded on cancellation.
What if my rug arrives damaged?
Please report any damage or defect within 7 days of delivery, with photos, to support@rugkey.com. We handle it under our Returns and Refund Policy.
